Organ Donation and Transplantation Initiatives
Our hospital is actively involved in organ harvesting through a dedicated team of trained experts. Organs are procured from brain-dead patients in accordance with strict ethical and medical guidelines.
In the past year, we successfully harvested organs from 8 brain-dead donors, enabling life-saving transplants for critically ill patients. So far this year, we have managed 3 such cases.
We are proud to have achieved the highest number of renal transplantations from brain-dead donors in Tamil Nadu last year. For this outstanding contribution, our hospital received a prestigious State Award from the Honourable Health Minister.
